There are so many images and items in the collection that need identification, so this is your chance to offer US some advice. Here are two photographs that we know were taken in Plymouth. Welcome

Previously known as the Force Museum, Devon & Cornwall Constabulary’s Heritage & Learning Resource is now based in Okehampton. One of our long-term aims is to open as a Police Heritage Centre which will illustrate aspects of police history as well as policing today. This will finally enable our extensive archives and collection to be accessible to the public.

During this period of transition we regret we are not open to the public and most of the collection remains crated up in anticipation of building works needed to turn the space into a fully functioning museum.

This new web-site is still under development, but we hope it gives you a flavour of what is to come. Some drop-down menus are not yet available, but please be patient – our web-team are hard at work.

We would like to thank the Heritage Lottery Fund for their financial support, which has made this web-site and Driving Heritage – our new Educational programme – possible.
