Can you help?

Plymouth

There are so many images and items in the collection that need identification, so this is your chance to offer US some advice.  Here are two photographs that we know were taken in Plymouth.  Do you recognise the location?  Can you tell us when they were taken?  Do you have any memories of these views?  Click on the images to enlarge them.

We would love to hear from you.  A picture is only as good as its story.  Replies to our Online Enquiry Form.

Facilities

Kodak View Camera Model

Kodak View Camera Model B with Prontor SVS lens.

Because the collection has recently moved into premises previously used as offices, we have no access or facilities to allow us to open to the public.

We very much hope that during 2007 we can secure funding so that building work can be carried out to turn the rooms into a vibrant community space with exhibition/workshop areas, a shop, café, meeting rooms and public parking.

Chair with turntable used for photographic records.

For the above reasons we regret that we cannot allow researchers access to the collection at present, nor can we undertake research on behalf of enquirers.
