This workshop focuses on the historical background and social implications of protesting:-

  • Why do people protest
  • How can they protest safely and legally
  • Freedon of speech amd emancipation
  • Rights

The workshop can be tailored to include examples of famous protestors or freedom fighters used during school's course work, for example, Martin Luther King.

National Curriculum: Citizenship and PSHE

The workshop covers children's rights, conflict resolution, crime, human rights, the legal system and the role of the police.
