What is Driving Heritage?
Devon and Cornwall Constabulary are re-launching their Museum as the Heritage and Learning Resource. In addition, with support and funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Museums, Libraries and Archieves South West, we are developing an educational programme called Driving Heritage.
Driving Heritage consists of a transit van, an Education Officer and a “Pop-Up Museum” and takes inspirational and interactive workshops right into schools across Devon and Cornwall.
Driving Heritage has two new workshops up and running which are aimed at a Key Stage 2 year 6 audience and compliment the National Curriculum subjects of Citizenship, PHSE and History, supported with material from the collection. These are:
